Elizabeth Wilson
A writing career that started in the 1970s, with activism and contributions to political, ‘underground’ magazines such as Frendz, Come Together and Red Ragled to academic research and non fiction in the areas of: feminist politics and policy; the history of fashionable dress and dress as cultural practice; the cultures of urban life; and high culture and popular culture, especially architecture and film. Her novels The Twilight Hour, War Damage and The Girl in Berlin are published by Serpent’s Tail.
Unfolding the Past was published in March 2022
Co-edited with Joanne Entwistle, the second edition of our joint publication Body Dressing will be published in 2027.
